Princess of America Junior Ambassador

Maggie Marie Peterson is a 13 year old from Lebanon Kansas.  She is a 7th grader that is active in Volleyball, Cheerleading, Honor Band, & Track and Field.  Maggie is also a Honor Student with a 4.0 GPA.  She is the daughter of Anthony & Sherelle Peterson and the older sister to her brother Maddix.  Maggie and her family are members of the Smith Center Evangelical Free Church. Maggie is active in her church volunteering in the children's nursery, she is also involved with her youth group on Wednesday nights and enjoys singing specials on Sunday mornings. Maggie is a country girls at heart and loves being outdoors enjoying all nature has to offer.  Maggie and her family live on a large farm in North Central Kansas. As Maggie gets older she is becoming more and more apart of their farm operation, by helping out with the wheat and fall harvest each year.

Maggie started her organization "Bibs for Babies" about a year ago. Her mother and her began sewing bibs and donating them to different local organizations that could use them.  After Maggie won her title of Junior Ambassador her platform focused around the needs that all babies have.  Blessings for Babies became her official platform for her title.  She now is collecting item like diapers, bottles, wipes, and blankets to go along with the bibs she is still continuing to make.  All the donated items will go to Hospitals, Crisis Pregnancy Centers, Health Departments, and local charities involved with infants. 

Maggie's heart is and always will be focused on those in need.  Maggie has spent over 250 hours volunteering in her community this year.  Her servant heart is evident in her daily life, and she finds joy in helping others and giving back. Each and everyday she thanks God for the opportunity to serve as your 2016 Princess of America Junior Ambassador.
